Turkey prepares for possible refugee flood from aleppo

If the unrest in Syria spreads to Aleppo – the country's largest city, and some 25 miles from the Turkish border – around 300,000 Syrians are expected to flee to Turkey. Ankara is making preparations to establish a two-kilometer-wide, 15-kilometer-long buffer zone. The Turkish Red Crescent (Kizilay) also has plans to erect a tent city on the Syrian side of the border.
