Turkey, US and Israel to hold joint Naval exercises

The Turkish, US and Israeli navies will conduct a joint search-and-rescue exercise in the eastern Mediterranean next week, the Israeli military announced yesterday. Two Israeli military ships and an Israeli helicopter will be part of the exercise. In the exercise, Reliant Mermaid X, the three navies will rehearse naval rescue missions and work to improve their level of coordination. Eight ships, four helicopters and three search and rescue aircraft from the three countries will participate in the drill.
