Turkish convoy hit in Somali bombings

A statement issued by the Turkish Red Crescent (Kizilay) on Sunday said that a Somali personnel of Kizilay was killed and three Turkish personnel were slightly wounded when their vehicle was hit by a powerful blast Sunday in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu. A total of 20 people died in the incident. A car bomb exploded at a building housing Somali intelligence along the road to the airport as Turkish and African Union (AU) vehicles were passing, police and witnesses said.
