US ambassador condemns attacks against Justice Ministry and AKP headquarters

Francis Ricciardone, the US ambassador to Turkey, on Wednesday strongly condemned two attacks against the annex of the Ministry of Justice and the Justice and Development Party (AKP) headquarters in Ankara on Tuesday. Following a meeting with AKP deputy leader Numan Kurtulmus and Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin, Ricciardone told reporters that he has visited Ergin upon an appointment he has already made to improve the cooperation between the two countries within the framework of anti-terrorism laws. Ricciardone added that his country’s cooperation with Turkey in the fight against terrorism would continue.
