WSJ: Britain, Turkey close to signing military deal

Britain and Turkey are close to military cooperation, the Wall Street Journal reported yesterday. The countries are close to signing a military cooperation deal including Turkey's participation in the construction of warships for Britain as well as the training of British helicopters pilots in Turkey. Under the deal, Turkish officers will also take part in programs at Britain's Royal College of Defence Studies, said the Journal.
