Erdogan telephones Syria's Assad

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday reportedly made a telephone call to Syrian President Bashar Assad. According to Syria's official news agency SANA, Erdogan and Assad discussed the situation in Iraq and the Middle East peace process as well as bilateral relations and common interests.
