Exports soar in January

Turkey's export revenues soared over 38 percent in January and early February compared to the same period last year to reach $12.9 billion, said State Minister for Foreign Trade Kursad Tuzmen yesterday. In January, exports skyrocketed 49 percent, and also rose 11.7 percent on Feb. 1-9 with revenues of $3 billion, he explained. "We want to reach annual exports of $125 billion," Tuzmen added.
