28 pre-qualification bids collected for TANAP

The Turkish energy minister said 28 companies, nine of which are local companies, have applied for preliminary qualification for procurement of the pipes to be used for Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP). Minister Yildirim told the authorities will begin to review the applications by August 27. Pre-qualification tender notices were previously announced for the pipeline system running from Georgia-Turkey Border to Turkey-Greece Border under TANAP Project, which intends to transport natural gas to be produced in Shah Deniz 2 field across Turkey to Europe.
