AKP deputy leader Kurtulmus makes a speech at Chatham House in London

Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputy leader Numan Kurtulmus made a speech titled "Turkey: An Economic Role Model for the Middle East and North Africa" yesterday at the Chatham House as part of his contacts in London. Kurtulmus said that the dynamism achieved by Turkey's economy consisted of important experiences not only for the Middle East and North Africa, but also for a great many European countries. Kurtulmus also said that as part of his contacts with British officials, he would "share particularly Turkey's economic achievements and how the macroeconomic balances of the last decade could be turned into a microeconomic success in the next decade."
