Albanian defense minister Oketa visits Ankara

Albanian Defense Minister Gazmend Oketa yesterday met with his Turkish counterpart Vecdi Gonul. Oketa will reportedly attend the handover ceremony for the command and secretariat of the Southeastern Europe Brigade in Istanbul. Oketa thanked Turkey for supporting Albania's NATO membership. He added that relations between the two countries have developed since a 1992 military cooperation agreement.
