American patriot team in Gaziantep

A group of US troops arrived in the southeastern province of Gaziantep on Thursday to work on the deployment of Patriot air defence systems that Turkey had requested from NATO. The US troops arrived in Gaziantep in a Turkish Airlines (THY) passenger jet and were taken to their hotel by Turkish security forces. The 27-member US military group will survey the site where the system is to be installed in Gaziantep on Friday. On the other hand the German Patriot team came to Adana on December 17. The Ministry of Defence of Netherlands announced that Patriots will depart on January 7. The Patriots which will be taken to Eemshaven Harbour in the state of Groningen will be sent to Turkey via sea.
