Ankara to give a harsh message to US and Iraq

Following the terrorist PKK attacks which occurred in the Cukurca district of the southeastern province of Hakkari on Wednesday, Turkey called on its triple mechanism partners, namely, the US and Iraq, to hold an extraordinary session. The triple mechanism, which was set up between Turkey, the US and Iraq three years ago to jointly fight the terrorist PKK, will convene in Ankara in a few days to evaluate recent developments. Reportedly, Turkey will take a hard line with the US and Iraq for providing insufficient support and tell them in the session that unless they helped Turkey to completely remove the terrorist PKK from northern Iraq, it would do the necessary.
