Annual Arab Public Opinion Survey results announced
The results of Annual Arab Public Opinion Survey which was conducted by Professor Shibley Telhami from the Maryland University in the US was announced. According to results of the survey which was carried out on a total of 3,000 people from Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates, 50 percent of Arabs consider Turkey to have played the most constructive role in this process. Furthermore, 44 percent of Egyptians want their country to look more like Turkey than any of other countries. The majority of interviewees reported that the US policies with regard to the Middle East are mostly related to oil and Israel.
