Armenian patriarchate in Istanbul against Armenian resolution discussion in France

The Armenian Patriarchate of Istanbul stated that bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide at the French Parliament will damage Armenian-Turkish relations in a written statement.The Armenian Patriarchate stated that future of the Armenian-Turkish relations should not be shadowed by the [1915] painful events."It will damage friendship of Armenian and Turkish people," Patriarchate added, "This country belongs to all of us. We have shared Noah's pudding with our Muslim neighbors. Armenians will cook Noah's Pudding next week and return our neighbors' plate after filling it with the same. This plate is so fragile and so precious. We must protect it altogether, but unfortunately international community ignores this reality sometimes. Such developments abroad are fed from an unpleasant fight. We all know that this fight cannot and should not continue forever. Not others, but neighbors must end this fight."
