Bagis, Eker prep for EU food chapter

Agriculture Minister Mehdi Eker and Chief Negotiator for European Union talks Egemen Bagis yesterday discussed the chapter on food set to open during Spain's current EU term presidency. Bagis stated that Eker has made many reforms to agriculture to bring Turkey to EU standards, while Eker called stressed that agriculture, with its three sub-sections, is an important chapter.
