Bagis receives Brazilian ambassador to Ankara

Turkish Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis yesterday hosted Brazilian Ambassador to Ankara Marcelo Jardim at the Parliament on the occasion of the end of Jardim's term of office in Turkey. Stating that Turkey attaches importance to Brazil and that the countries act together in many issues, Bagis said that Jardim has exerted many efforts to further improve the relations between the two countries. Bagis also thanked Jardim for his contributions to relations between Turkey and Brazil. For his part, Jardim said that he was sorry to leave Turkey following a five-year term of office, during which relations between the two countries have been considerably strengthened.
