Bagis receives IRCICA General director

Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) General Director Halit Eren yesterday visited EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis at his office in Ortakoy, Istanbul, to brief him on efforts exerted by the IRCICA. Bagis made a statement following the meeting which was closed to the press, saying that he was happy with the work carried out by IRCICA. "Turkey is highly proud of Mr. Eren. The books in front of us are only a part of those which were published by IRCICA for the last two years. He told us that he would bring some of their publications to us, but we weren't expecting him to provide a library. Turkey's peace messages are brought to agenda through IRCICA not only in Islamic geography, but also in the entire world. I would like to thank him for his visit," Bagis said.
