Bagis receives SDP leader Gabriel at parliament

Turkey's Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis on Thursday received Germany's Social Democratic Party (SPD) leader Sigmar Gabriel at the Parliament in Ankara. Bagis told Gabriel that his team was powerful and hardworking. "We can start negotiations then," Gabriel responded. Bagis also told Gabriel that the SDP supported Turkey's EU membership bid and thanked him for that. Furthermore, Bagis informed members of the Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs about Turkey's EU membership process.
