Bartholomeos thanks Erdogan for the opening of the seminary

Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomeos thanked Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan and Education Minister Omer Dincer for giving permission to Greek community to open a primary school on Gokçeada (Imbros) Island after 48 years. Speaking after a religious ceremony at the Virgin Marry Church, Bartholomeos said, "We have been unjustly treated, but now we are having the fruits of our patience." Bartholomeos also called on Greek community living on the Gokceada Island to enroll their children in the school to be opened on the island.
