Barzani donates for earthquake victims

Following the disaster caused by the 7.2-magnitude earthquake which has hit the eastern province of Van on Sunday, Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party (IKDP) leader Massoud Barzani donated 1 billion American dollars to the Turkish Red Crescent (Kizilay) to be used for earthquake victims. A delegation from the IKDP visited the Turkish Consulate General in Erbil yesterday and gave the 1-million-dollar check to be delivered to Kizilay.
