Bread and blanket campaign for Syrians yields results

As part of the ''Bread and Blanket" campaign which was organized by the Turkish Red Crescent (Kizilay), the Foundation of Turkish Religious Affairs and the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey (AFAD), 50 tonnes of flour and rations have been delivered to Syrian refugees in Turkey who have been also provided with a donation totaling 100 million TL in 15 days. Ali Kurt, Secretary General of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW), expressed hope that these figures would reach 200 million TL. Kurt added that 150,000 Syrian people lived in camps and some 100,000 Syrians stayed in various houses that they have rented in Turkey.
