Intelligence agencies do not overlook Turkey’s success in recent years with its growth rates and increasing areas of investment. Turkey has been included in The World Factbook list prepared by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) considering factors such as income, industry, democracy, agriculture, environment and culture. There are currently 34 countries in the list including the US, Japan, Germany, Britain and Italy. On the other hand, international credit rating agency Standard & Poor’s (S&P) is planning to remove the abbreviation ‘TR’ put in front of the rating score given to Turkish companies. Accordingly, ratings of Turkish companies will reach an international standard.
