Cicek receives his Bosnia-Herzegovinian counterpart
Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek yesterday received his Bosnia-Herzegovinian counterpart Milorad Zivkovic and the accompanying delegation. During their meeting, Cicek expressed his gladness over Zivkovic's visit to the Parliament, saying that Bosnia-Herzegovina is quite special to Turkey and the two countries enjoy heartfelt bilateral relations. Stating that Turkey has always stood in solidarity with Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cciek said, "We have exerted all sorts of efforts to ensure that problems of Bosnia-Herzegovina are solved, and we will continue to do so. We have been enjoying considerably intensive and friendly relations between the two countries." Cicek added that relations between Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina had positive reflections on other Balkan countries and world peace as well. Speaking in his part, Zivkovic thanked Turkey for helping his country especially in the last 20 years. Stating that relations between the countries have been problem-free, Zivkovic said that Turkey was a considerably important investor for his country. "You have become the ninth largest investor country in the world. This situation makes us happy," Zivkovic said.
