Cicek receives students participating in 11th Turkish Olympics

Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek on Monday received foreign students participating in the 11th Turkish Olympics. Speaking at the meeting, Cicek congratulated the students, as well as their families, teachers and those who have contributed to implementation of the project. Stating that Turkish started to be spoken in many countries thanks to Olympics, Cicek said that there was a good service carried out here. Cicek was also informed by Public Relations Coordinator of Turkish Olympics Hasan Ayasun about the organization. As part of the event, students from South Korea, Crimea, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nakhichevan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and the US read poems in Turkish. The students also visited Chairman of the Supreme Board of Radio and Television (RTUK) Davut Dursun. During his meeting with students, Dursun said that it was very important that students with different languages, religions and cultures have united under the roof of Turkish language.
