Clinton to make working visit to Turkey

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to make an official visit to Turkey on August 11 to hold talks mainly on the Syrian crisis. "Secretary Clinton will go to Istanbul for bilateral consultations with the Turkish government on Syria, as well as to cover other timely issues," US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland stated on Sunday. Clinton's visit to Turkey will follow her current Africa tour which is set to end on August 10.
