Reinhard Cluse, UBS Head of Department of Economics of Developing Countries from London, said that Turkey's economy has gained momentum and continued to grow in recent years, despite the risks. Stating that the crisis in euro-zone could be overcome through certain steps aimed at growth and strong leadership, Cluse said that Turkey's economy achieved stable growth at a time when developed countries witness a slowdown in growth. Cluse added that the shrinking global economy might slowdown Turkey's growth rate, but the difference between Turkey and the developed countries could be made up, in case correct measures were taken.
