Commanders in chief of Armed Forces pay farewell visit to Gul and PM Erdogan

Chief of the Army Full General Hayri Kivrikoglu, Commander of the Naval Forces Full Admiral E. Murat Bilgel, Commander of the Air Force Full General Mehmet Erten and Commander of the Gendarmerie Forces Full General Bekir Kalyoncu paid an official visit to President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to bid farewell to them. Four Commanders, who will retire on Aug. 30, joined the National Security Council (MGK) meeting for the last time and also bid a farewell to the other members of the council. The change of command ceremonies will be held today and tomorrow.
