The Turkish Council of Ministers convened in Ankara on Monday. Speaking after the Cabinet meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that an Israeli delegation's visit scheduled for this week has been postponed to April 21 or 22. "I will be accompanying the prime minister for his trip to Kyrgyzstan, so we contacted [Israel] and postponed their visit," Arinc told reporters. Asked if the Turkish government would provide a legal assurance during the outlawed PKK's retreating from Turkey by giving up weapons as part of the solution process, Arinc underlined that the Turkish Parliament would not be involved in such a retreating process. Arinc added that they have said time and time again that there was no need for a law on the retreat and that the Turkish government was the only interlocutor involved in the process.
