Within the scope of the 49th International Munich Security Conference, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu came together with Vice President of the US Joe Biden and they discussed relations between the two countries, regional developments and Friday's suicide bomb blast in US Embassy in Ankara. Davutoglu also had a phone conversation with new US Secretary of State John Kerry on Saturday during which Davutoglu expressed his grief over the bombing of the embassy. Reportedly, Kerry thanked Turkish officials for their collaboration with US officials after the suicide attack. The two ministers agreed on meeting in the near future. Davutoglu is the first minister of foreign affairs to whom Kerry has spoken since he was appointed secretary of state.
