Davutoglu opens Yunus Emre Culture Center

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who is currently in Iran to hold various contacts along with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, attended the inauguration ceremony of Yunus Emre Culture Center yesterday in Tehran. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Davutoglu said that such culture centers have been opened in order to get to further know friendly countries enjoying cultural ties with Turkey, as well as other nations located in remotest regions. "The architecture in Anatolia has been influenced by this territory, just like we have left traces on the culture of this territory," Davutoglu said. Davutoglu also stressed that Turkey and Iran have been enjoying good political relations and that cultural relations between the two countries would be deepened thanks to the Yunus Emre Culture Center.
