Speaking to private Kanal 7 television on Sunday, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu evaluated the Syria issue. Davutoglu said that the methods of Syrian regime were escalating in dosage and turning into a humanity crime, adding that destroying Aleppo means to destroy the future of Syria and that that al-Assad regime is not able to see its own future, but punishing its own people. "In any case and at all costs, we will not let any terrorist groups prosper along our borders, whether they are al-Qaeda or the PKK. Both are seen as a threat to our country and all measures will be taken to stop them," Davutoglu said. Davutoglu also said some suggested the entire north of Syria had fallen to the outlawed PKK. "This is not the case, but I cannot say there is no risk. Even if there is a 1 percent risk, we would take it seriously," Davutoglu added.
