Some progress has been made in exploratory talks between Ankara and Athens towards settling their Aegean disputes, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said yesterday. Speaking to reporters alongside his visiting Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Ebul Geyt, Davutoglu declined to give details about the progress, but added, "We want to improve relationships in the Aegean. But Turkey's vital interests are at stake. Work to guarantee those interests will go forward."
