Davutoglu to visit Geneva

A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said that Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a visit to Geneva to participate in the "Ministerial Meeting of Syria Bordering Countries" which will be organized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on September 4, adding that Foreign Ministers from Iraq and Jordan and the Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs will also participate in the meeting. "The meeting aims to bring the situation of the people who has taken refuge in neighboring countries due to the events in Syria to the attention of the international public opinion. Strategies on burden-sharing between the international community and the countries hosting these people will also be determined during this meeting," the statement said.
