Davutoglu: We will never abandon Palestine

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu yesterday attended an international donor conference on Palestine in Baku which was organized by the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC). Speaking on the sidelines of the conference, Davutoglu reiterated all of the OIC members’ support for Jerusalem and the Palestinian people, saying, "Turkey will never leave Jerusalem and the Palestinian people alone and stands by their righteous cause." Afterwards, Davutoglu attended another conference on establishing an Islamic financial security network to support Palestine’s economy, where he said that Turkey has supported today's event like any other event of international significance initiated by Azerbaijan. "Turkey has always been close to fraternal Azerbaijan. Turkey is very happy at economic development of Azerbaijan, as well as diplomatic successes of Baku at the international level," Davutoglu said.
