Investor confidence in the Turkish market is rising, according to a Deloitte report released late last month. In its Private Equity Confidence Survey, Deloitte Turkey said investors' trust in the Turkish market has returned to the level of 2007, before the global crisis. The report gives a comprehensive snapshot of private equity investors' expectations for the next six months and indications of changing confidence levels in the economic climate, deal activity, availability of funding and investment focus. The results produce a forward-looking measure of overall sentiment in the Turkish private equity community, which is extremely relevant to immediate deal flow. The survey for the second half of 2010 was conducted in September among approximately 50 private equity investors investing in Turkish companies, and includes projections for the next six months.
