Dutch companies such as Deems, CLB, Iseco, Lamboo, Linido, Nucletron and Skytron today began a three-day visit to Istanbul and Ankara seeking investment opportunities, according to Ali Sarac, the head of JAMAO Consulting. "We hope to boost trade between Turkey and the Netherlands by having such trips at least four times a year," said Sarac. The rapid expansion of the Turkish economy in recent years is attracting Dutch firms, he said. The visit will focus on such sectors as healthcare and construction. Company executives will also visit the Health and Defense Ministries, and private Turkish hospitals and defense firms. Netherlands ranks among the top foreign investors in Turkey in recent years, Sarac said, thanks to the "shining performance" of its economy.
