Emine Erdogan to address UN session

Emine Erdogan, the wife of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will address a session at the United Nations later this month, according to the Istanbul Women's Research Center. Mrs. Erdogan will travel to New York to participate in the 55th session of the Commission on the Status of Women, which will take place at UN Headquarters from Feb. 22 to March 4, and will speak during a meeting organized by the center. The topic of Erdogan's speech will be the "The Importance of Women and Girls' Access to Education for the Construction of Humanity and the Empowerment of Women."
