Energy Minister Yildiz holds official contacts in Sudan

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz is paying an official visit to Sudan for talks and to pen a series of cooperation agreements on energy issues. As part of his visit, Yildiz met with Sudan's Mining Minister Kamal Abdel Latif, Water Resources and Electricity Minister Tabita Botros Shokai and Oil Minister Awad Al-Jaz. Following the meetings between technical delegations, the ministers signed three memorandums of understanding in mining, electricity and hydrocarbon sectors. As part of these agreements, Turkish companies will explore mines in these countries.
