Energy minister Yildiz receives US' Wexler

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz yesterday met with Robert Wexler, co-chair of the US House of Representatives' Turkey Study Group. Asked whether the US sees recent cooperation between Turkey and Russia on South Stream as a rival to the Nabucco project, Wexler said, "In line with Turkey's agreement with Russia, we see Turkey’s efforts not to stick to one resource." For his part, Yildiz said that they discussed ways to boost cooperation on renewable energy between businesses from both countries.
