Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday arrived in the Indonesian city of Bali, where he was welcomed by Turkish Ambassador to Indonesia Zekeriya Akcam and other officials.  Prime Minister’s wife Emine Erdogan, his daughter Sumeyye Erdogan, Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay and Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputy leader Omer Celik also traveled to Indonesia. Speaking to Turkish reporters in Bali, where he was set to take part in the Bali Democracy Forum, Erdogan denied earlier reports in international media outlets which have said that Turkey contacted NATO and the US and demanded deployment of Patriots along its border with Syria against possible threats, saying that Turkey does not have any thoughts of acquiring Patriots by paying money. Replying to a question, Erdogan also said that the problem in Syria has become grave recently. "We are and will be providing Syrian refugees with logistic support as much as we can. We can’t send the people escaping death back to death. We have to protect them," Erdogan said, adding that there could not be a solution including Assad in Syria.
