Erdogan attends award ceremony for entrepreneurs of Turkey

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday attended an award ceremony for entrepreneurs of Turkey which was jointly organized by Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB). Speaking at the ceremony, Erdogan underlined that Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) have been supplied with credit totaling $14.5 million since the foundation of KOSGEB in 1990 until 2002, adding that the amount has climbed to $1.8 billion in the last decade. Reiterating that 110,000 people have been provided with entrepreneurship training in the last decade, Erdogan said that innovative and competitive SMEs would be further supported in terms of quantity and quality.
