Erdogan attends G-8 summit in Italy

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, accompanied by Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek and State Minister for the Economy Ali Babacan, yesterday traveled to Rome to attend a G-8 summit at the invitation of his Italian counterpart Silvio Berlusconi. Erdogan, who also attended a banquet hosted by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, will deliver a speech at a meeting on global food security.
