Erdogan contacts Dutch PM Rutte on the phone

Having intensified the telephone diplomacy in recent days, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the Netherlands' Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Monday over the recent incidents in Syria and Egypt. Erdogan told his Dutch counterpart that use of chemical weapons in Syria clearly requires concrete steps to be taken by the international community, sources from the Office of the Prime Minister said. Erdogan also stressed that a democratic process should be initiated urgently with the participation of all sides in Egypt.
