Erdogan evokes spirit of nobel peace in opposing Armenian resolution

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday expressed hope that US President Barack Obama would support Turkey's opposition to a vote by the US House of Representatives on a resolution declaring the World War I-era killings of Armenians a genocide. Such support would be in line with the spirit of the Nobel Peace Prize, which Obama won last year, Erdogan suggested.
