Erdogan, Putin discuss energy over telephone

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan reportedly discussed Turkish-Russian energy projects and bilateral ties during a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. "Putin and Erdogan discussed the current situation in trade and economic ties, the implementation of major international projects, including projects in the energy sphere, as well as some issues concerning Russian-Turkish cooperation in international organizations," said Dmitry Peskov, Putin's press secretary. The phone conversation was initiated by Erdogan, he added.
