Erdogan: "We always stand in solidarty with women"
Prime Minister Erdogan made a speech on global women's work on the occasion of March 8 International Women's Day in an event organized by the Moral Rights Workers Union (Hak-Is) on Thursday. Appealing to women to support the ongoing peace process on the Kurdish issue in Turkey, Erdogan said, "We, namely, all of the Turkish, Kurdish, Laz, Cherkes, Georgian, Abkhasian, Bosnian, and Albanian and Romanian people, should work in cooperation without discriminating any of these 76 million people in this peace process in 81 provinces in our homeland covering an area of 780,000 square meters. We should close our doors to those who want to spoil our unity and solidarity and finalize this process. I expect many things from our sisters. If you say stop to this, this would stop with God's help. As a prime minister who feels your power in this struggle, I especially hope to see your support," adding, "We always stand in solidarity with women in their struggle for their rights in every sense. We support this with all our hearts."
