Erdogan underwent a surgery

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has undergone a surgery over the weekend at the Marmara University, Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul and is in good health, a statement from the Prime Ministry said on Monday. The statement said, "The Prime Minister underwent a successful laparoscopic surgery on his digestive system on November 26, 2011. The surgery was performed on November 26, as Prime Minister's agenda was suitable for that date. He is in good health. Our Prime Minister will soon be able to resume his duties after a period of rest advised by his doctors." Reportedly, the surgery and safety applications were coordinated and organized by Health Minister Recep Akdag.
