Ergin expresses hope that bloodshed ends in Syria
Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin said yesterday that Turkey has been trying to take initiative so that the crime against humanity, bloodshed and tears end in Syria. Ergin also said that Turkey would not act in accordance with others’ motivations, but that it would also not remain indifferent to such a humanitarian plight occurring at its elbow. Speaking to journalists in Edirne in sidelines of a meeting of his Justice and Development Party (AKP), Ergin said, "Before such consequences occurred, we have exerted efforts, but unfortunately such efforts yielded no result." Ergin also expressed hope that Syria would estimate other consequences in the future and take certain steps to prevent possible pains.
