European Media Conference held in Paris

The third meeting of the European Media Conference was held in Paris over the weekend with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc. Speaking at the conference, Arinc said that Ataturk has attached great importance to foundation of the Anatolia News Agency and the Directorate General of Press and Information (DGPI) since the Turkish Parliament’s creation. Underlining that Turkey has become a global actor in the region and globally as well, Arinc said that currently there were a great many countries willing to benefit from Turkey’s mediation and use its political power.
