France prosecutor names prime suspect in PKK killings in Paris
Speaking in a press conference yesterday, French Prosecutor Francois Molins confirmed that the only detained suspect the killing of three Kurdish women affiliated with the terrorist organization PKK, in Paris on January 10 was 30-year-old Omer Guney from the Central Anatolian province of Sivas. Guney has been a member of the PKK for the past two years and was the last person to be seen with Cansiz on security cameras. Molins also said all three women were killed with one gun. Furthermore, the French police found gunshot residue on the suspect's coat. Molins said that video cameras showed that Guney came to Rue Lafayette in Paris at the time investigators believe the killings occurred there. The prosecutor said 10 shots were fired -- four into the head of one of the victims and three into the heads of the other two.
